Shakers in the Dark have released their debut single 'GRANDEUR', introducing
indie-trance into the music lexicon. The single mixes the raw energy of British indie rock with the atmospheric ambience that characterised late 1990's trance house music.

'Grandeur' epitomises Shakers in the Dark's unique style, combining stabbing electronic synth lines, soaring melodies, choppy guitar lines and pulsing dance beats. The single has received airplay on BBC Essex Introducing show, and has met with a hugely positive buzz around the internet’s music community.

Since inception at the start of 2009, Shakers in the Dark have been crafting their own specific and singular sound in the studio while playing many successful shows with Future of the Left, We Are Wolves and Paper Route. Influenced by MSTKRFT, The Rapture, Chemical Brothers and Giorgio Moroder, Shakers in the Dark have made it their mission to become independent to surrounding ‘scenes’ and have developed a unique, exciting and individual strain of music.
